JON : DRUMS & PERCUSSION

Jon is the most recent addition to the Rifftoads line up. After depping with us for around eighteen months, Jon finally came on board full time and is enjoying the variety a covers band brings.

Jon picked up his sticks at the age of sixteen after heavy encouragement from his dad, who also plays drums. He joined his first band at school, called 'Paddington Frisk', and since those early days; Jon has played with many local bands as a dep and session musician. After University, Jon took some time out to study music at the world famous "Drumtech" music school where he completed his course with merit.

Since then, Jon has kept busy playing and recording with his originals band 'Cars on fire'. He plays Ludwig drums, Pearl hardware, Zildijan K custom cymbals, Travis Barker and Zak Starkey sticks.
